Ex White House chief Anthony Scaramucci sees bitcoin crack the $100,000 mark soon as he shared in a recent interview.

Bitcoin (BTC) has been following a downward price trajectory for the past few months as uncertainty in the market prevails. However, despite the onset of the “crypto winter,” Anthony Scaramucci, the former White House chief of communications and founder of Skybridge Capital, said that he believes that BTC will reach a price of $100,000 per coin soon.

The founder of SkyBridge Capital, a global investment firm based in New York City, appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box to reveal why he is bullish on bitcoin. Scaramucci also added that bitcoin would move through this “carnage” if investors remained prudent.

Scaramucci compared the current bitcoin sell-off to the meltdown of internet firms in 2000, which was labeled as a “passing fad.” He confirmed that he had purchased Bitcoin during the market crash and his firm SkyBridge also bought the dip.

Interestingly, Scaramucci said that bitcoin continues to dominate all the shitcoins, and as a result, a price of $100,000 within 12 to 24 months seems natural. He also advised that the bearish trend in the market is a potential accumulation point where bitcoin can be bought at a very heavy discount.

On the other hand, FTX charity CEO Sam Bankman-Fried believes that the current bearish conditions don’t resemble crypto winter and called it “crypto autumn.”

Bitcoin News asked Mr. Scaramucci why he doesn’t have laser eyes on but did not receive an answer yet.
