  • Two blockchain organizations have joined hands to raise funds for vulnerable London communities to put blockchain-based fundraising back in spotlight

Two organizations have joined hands to collect and distribute funds among some of the London’s most vulnerable populations. Bank Account Based Blockchain (BABB) and CryptoAM.io have announced a combined fundraising campaign recently back on March 31, 2020. The blockchain-operated charity will help the elderly and some of the most vulnerable people living in Canary Wharf, Poplar and the Isle of Dogs in London.

The Blockchain Technology and its ability to handle and record even the smallest of transactions has always deemed it a perfect way to collect meaningful donations. Now with the Covid-19 crisis causing a lot of problems around the world especially for the most vulnerable populace, Blockchain Technology is back under focus. BABB is utlilizing its native BAX tokens for this project and donations both big and small can be easily made on the platform with no transaction charges for the donors.

David Taylor, BABB’s Chief Marketing Officer believes that Canary Wharf being a global center of financial services needs to increase its capacity to help the most vulnerable communities within the city and across the country. He believes that BABB has the ability to offer this in times of need. Around 5000 GBP have already been raised by the donation efforts.
