• A survey conducted by crypto wallet provider, Childy revealed that more than half of the crypto users support the otherwise “much-dreaded” crypto taxation.

A new survey conducted by a South Korean crypto startup, Childly unveiled that crypto users might be getting comfortable with the idea of taxation of cryptocurrencies. With more than 5750 cryptocurrency investors as the respondents of the survey,  the surveyor company reported that only one out of five users is against the idea of the taxation system.

The news report stated that about 48% of the respondents strongly endorse crypto taxation for moral obligations and duty. Another 18% of the respondents were open to the idea, but at an “acceptable level”. About 14% of the respondents were neutral on this subject, with another 9% believing that the sector must first mature before implementing a complicated taxation system.

11% of the respondents strongly disapprove the present-day crypto taxation regulations, and believe that the system requires a completely new approach.

Childly chief executive officer, Eunti Kim, stated:

“Although many countries have already begun its taxation on digital assets, voices of those asking for the more judicious approach to applying tax rules should be heard at all levels,”
