Starting on April 6th through the 9th, the world’s largest Bitcoin conference will convene in the Miami Beach Convention Center. From previous conferences, announcements included El Salvador President Nayib Bukele revealing his intentions to make BTC legal tender, and the debut of etherium.

Billionaire venture capitalist Peter Thiel will be attending, and is scheduled to be one of the speakers. Some 6 months ago he was interviewed by the Lincoln Network during an event at the Pérez Art Museum Miami.

The paypal founder who discribes his political views as Libertarian pointed out that crypto was libertarian because it’s a “force for decentralization”. By extension Artificial Intelligence, “especially the sort of low-tech, surveillance form, is essentially communist,” because it’s a force for centralization.

On whether or not he is bullish or bearish on bitcoin, he said “maybe, but it surely tells us that we are at a complete bankruptcy moment for the central banks”. Hopefully we can have another dose of encouraging insights this time!

The fact that the co-founder of Paypal will spend time to attend conferences about bitcoin and is so enthusiastic about it shows up the bluster of the naysayers quite nicely. His words show he is knowledgeable about the subject. The spoutings of the naysayers often show their ignorance. Remember when Canadian authoritarians were trying to “freeze” bitcoin addresses?

So we look forward to hearing what he has to say. We want people with knowledge to lead the way, not ignorant buffoons.
