Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer has announced to accept Bitcoin. From now on all online shop payments on its U.S. website can be sent via bitcoin (BTC).

In a press statement on May 19, TAG Heuer noted that the new payment option will incorporate Bitcoin and in addition 11 digital currencies (shitcoins), including Ethereum, Dogecoin, and five dollar-pegged stablecoins.

Under the pilot project, customers in the U.S. will be able to purchase watches and pay with bitcoin through the brands website. There is no minimum amount to spend while the maximum limited to $10,000 per transaction adhering to financial regulation. The company stressed that the new payment option was motivated by a rise in the number of customers using bitcoin.
