Amid the ongoing financial chaos regarding collapses of major banks in the United States, renowned American-British musician Sean Lennon recently made a solid statement about Bitcoin.
In a Monday tweet, the artist stated that “only Bitcoin” can save the world. Lennon’s statement was in response to a comic tweet from television presenter and Bitcoin proponent Stacy Herbert that depicted BTC as the new system and USD as the old system, along with the image of the U.S. President Joe Biden and El Salvador’s president Nayib Bukele.
Agreeing to Herbert, who said entropy can no longer be reversed for the “poor old dollar,” Lennon stated that only Bitcoin can save us now.
It has long been known that Beatles’ legend John Lennon’s son supports cryptocurrencies and is known for his major optimistic attitude toward bitcoin.
Notably, with the U.S. banking sector all trembling with the demise of Silicon Valley Bank and then Signature Bank, followed by the Credit Suisse collapse in Europe, investors are turning back to bitcoin in particular. As a response to this shift, the world’s largest cryptocurrency climbed to a nine-month high on Monday, advancing on its best week in four years.
