SEOUL, South Korea — Bitcoin Korea Conference (BKC), a Bitcoin-only community conference, will hold its third edition in Seoul on November 7–8, 2026. The first day takes place at COEX in Gangnam, and the second day moves to the Korea Federation of Banks building.

BKC is designed for two audiences at once. For people who have heard of Bitcoin but never had the chance to understand it, the conference offers a clear starting point.

For experienced Bitcoiners, it offers deeper, more advanced sessions. Every session focuses on Bitcoin alone: how it works, how to hold it safely, and how people already use it in daily life. Translation will be provided so that both Korean and international attendees can follow the program.

The lineup brings together developers, educators, and builders from Korea and around the world. More than 40 speakers will take the stage, including:

  • The CEO of Wallet of Satoshi

  • Alex Li, Bitcoin Development Lead at the Human Rights Foundation

  • Stephan Livera, host of the Stephan Livera Podcast

  • Calvin Kim, core developer of Utreexo

  • The CEO of Obscura VPN

  • Dea, Southeast Asia Community Lead at Fedi

BKC is also part of a wider Bitcoin Week in Seoul. The developer-focused bitcoin++ Seoul (Privacy Edition) runs on November 5–6, giving international visitors four consecutive days of Bitcoin events in the city. Community networking parties begin on November 2.

“Many people in Korea have heard the word Bitcoin, but very few have been given a clear, honest explanation of what it is,” said Specter, a leader in Korea’s Bitcoin ecosystem and founder of Bitcoin Korea Conference. “BKC is where that changes. You don’t need to be an expert to come. You just need to be curious.”

He added that the conference is as much about people as it is about ideas. “BKC is a place to learn, but it is also a place to meet,” he said. “New projects get started in conversations here, and teams find the people they want to build with.”

This year’s event is supported by Gold Sponsors the Human Rights Foundation and Wallet of Satoshi, and by Bronze Sponsors Obscura VPN and Fedi. Korea Economic TV, one of Korea’s leading business news channels, joins as the main media partner.

Tickets are available at https://www.bitcoinkoreaconference.com/en, with options including a Main Day pass, a VIP pass, and free student admission by application. Payment is accepted by card, bank transfer, and Bitcoin, including the Lightning Network.
