Longest Rodeo Ride Gets 1 Full Bitcoin In Miami

As the Miami Bitcoin 2022 conference approaches, marketing headlines are getting bolder. One bitcoin company now announced a reward of one full bitcoin for anyone who rides a mechnical rodeo bull the longest.

BitcoinNews is not paid by the company but the editors agreed, the marketing campaign is pretty solid and worth sharing. And no, it’s not from eToro this time.

“The opportunity to leave Miami with 1 full BTC is within your grasp. Bullish, the new digital asset exchange is offering an entire bitcoin to whoever rides its mechanical bull the longest.” reads the newsletter sent out on Monday by the organizers of the show.

This is good marketing. Perhaps not very innovative but it still nails it. It reminds us of the marketing by a car dealership in the late nineties that let participants win a car if they would not take their hands of in a knock-out contest called ‘hands on a hard body’:

The rodeo campaign is a little more exciting and interesting to watch than “hands on a hard body”. We can only imagine the pain the winner will feel in his arm after the ride.

BitcoinNews will be on the ground to report and fetch an interview with the champion. Our guesses are he will likely be from Texas. What should we ask him, will he leave his coins on an exchange or in self-custody?Will he buy something from the prize or hodl the entire bitcoin? Leave a comment on twitter.
