What began in November 2021—just two months after El Salvador adopted bitcoin as legal tender—as a dynamic summit organized by Galoy, attracted more than 700 attendees and 75 speakers who worked together on solutions to empower financial inclusion locally in El Salvador and beyond.
It eventually became an annual conference connecting not just developers, policymakers, and investors, but also freedom seekers, a variety of entrepreneurs, artists, and educators. It, in fact, shaped a group that together forms the cornerstone of ideas, networking, and action.
Known as the “high-signal conference for Bitcoin builders,” as stated on the event’s official website, Adopting Bitcoin is more than just a conference; it serves as a hub of knowledge and experiences that inspires its participants to engage in societal transformation built on freedom tech and sovereignty.
It comes as no surprise that this year’s event brings more focus to younger generations and their mentors by adding a dedicated space called Bitcoin Para Niños.
Happening on both days of the main event, November 15-16, Bitcoin Para Niños aims to offer fresh perspectives on financial education and practical tools to explore topics like sound money, the basics of economics, collaboration, and creative thinking.
The agenda promises soft panels appealing to younger participants, teachers, parents, and anyone interested in learning about financial freedom in a digestible way suitable for younger individuals.
There will also be educational games with unique prizes, interactive sessions, various creative workshops, screenings, and music-oriented activities, all crafted to blend fun and knowledge for different age groups.
Projects like Bitcoin Junior Club (co-organizer of this space), EconoKidz, Mi Primer Bitcoin, Free Market Kids , SHAmory, and The Little Hodler—just to name a few—are expected to contribute either in person or by providing unique materials, attractive gadgets, and valuable resources for all attendees.
Access to this area is complimentary for all Adopting Bitcoin ticket holders, making it the perfect opportunity for families to bring their younger ones along. Children under 18 don’t need extra tickets, enhancing participation for those planning to attend or already located in El Salvador.
Details about the program will be shared soon on the official website of the conference and involved project. Stay tuned by following their official channels.
